Composer, Baritone, Persian Ney Player

Farshad Abbasabadi was born is 1992 in Iran. He is a baritone, composer and Persian Ney player. He started music by playing the Persian Ney when he was a teenager. Farshad has composed solo pieces, chamber ensemble works, works for string orchestra and Persian Ney soloist, symphonic works, vocal works and one opera. Abbasabadi has won several awards both as a composer and a classical singer. In the past few years, he had 3 voice recitals in Tehran, Iran and has sung as a soloist with different ensembles including the Austrian Iranian cultural forum’s ensemble in Tehran, Iran. He is the composer of «The Story of that Woman» opera and has also sung the Minister’s role as a baritone singer in this recording.
